Director of models and photographer at Unsigned Models @unsignedmodels Cesar Perin @cesarperin presents this amazing vintage-inspired fashion editorial exclusively created for Vanity Teen online with the new face model Miles Hudson.
The shoot was put together by Cesar alone and styled by the model Miles, and the inspiration came from the model’s aesthetics. “Miles dresses like in the editorial images,” says the photographer. “He has a very mature aesthetically speaking, he knows how to pick looks that will complement his physical and state of mind.”
The idea was not to create an overdone shoot, and Miles self-styled himself combining looks and the reflection of his age was the idea. Therefore, there was not way it would turn out unsatisfactory.
The equipment used was a Canon 5D Mark IV and it took place in an old textile factory building in Manchester in the UK in which now is a Hotel called Abode Hotel.
I wanted to transmit nostalgia, taking us back to the 70’s and gender neutrality.
Miles is a very young English Northern lad, quite mysterious and quite talented musician and very into art also which makes a model much more interesting than just appearances. In the shoot day, Miles felt on his element, relaxed and very given in terms of taking directions. “Already have clients asking for updates and I am confident he will succeed in whatever come his way.”
