On Our Radar is back. For Fall–Winter 2026 in Paris, we reopen the rubric with renewed focus on craft, identity, and the quiet power of clothing—and we kick off with VAUTRAIT’s FW26 collection, the first brand to mark this relaunch.
VAUTRAIT embodies enduring design through menswear, heavy tailoring, and protective outerwear, where restraint and permanence prevail over spectacle. Silhouettes are deliberate and enveloping. Coats fall with measured volume; shoulders are structured but never aggressive. Layers accumulate as insulation, not ornament. Function leads; attention is optional. These garments exist as instruments of presence, endurance, and ritual.
At its core, VAUTRAIT interrogates identity through tradition, craft, and subtle locality. Techniques and materials evoke regional heritage without ever declaring it, creating a sense of belonging that is felt rather than mapped. Heritage is referenced but never cited; locality is implied, not labeled.
With its FW26 collection, VAUTRAIT reflects a nationalism without a nation—a memory of place forged through technique and touch. As On Our Radar relaunches, this first feature sets the tone: discovering brands that challenge how we experience clothing, inviting us to feel identity before we see it.
