Second stop on On Our Radar Fall/Winter 26 Edition: MAITREPIERRE and its contemplative, city-inspired collection “Crossroads.”
At the crossroads of past and future, couture and streetwear, thickness and lightness, color and sobriety, this collection turns everyday streets into runways. Inspired by Jean-Luc Godard’s Alphaville, the silhouettes feel soft and luminous: ball gowns become tracksuits, scarves merge into statement coats, and stripes echo the city’s intersecting streets. Accessories, in collab with Clara Besnard, play with function and fantasy—glasses become masks, strands of color transform into earrings.
Sustainability is sewn into the DNA: 100% of the collection comes from dead stock, waste, or certified materials via NONA Source. Beauty is sharp and precise: Ruby Mazuel for KIKO MILANO creates graphic liners and coordinated lips, while Yumiko Hikage for SHU UEMURA Art of Hair twists hair into checkerboard patterns that mirror the collection’s geometry.
“Crossroads” is soft, bold, and alive—a cityscape you can wear.
