Vanity Teen had the pleasure of interviewing Yentl @yentlpronk, who started modeling for her aunt’s fashion label and got scouted. Now she’s represented by KNOWN Model Management @knownmodelmanagement and for this photoshoot she was photographed by Marie Burnet @marieburnet and the makeup artist was @Makeupbyflorencevdl.
Q: How would you define yourself?
A: I am a curious girl who loves new adventures. Because of this, I am also open to meeting new people. I am always looking for a watch because I have to keep my brain busy. Friends and family know me as someone who is always happy with a listening ear.
Q: Can you tell us how did you start modeling and what made you do it?
A: My aunt has her own fashion label and every year we made a lookbook for the summer and winter collection. The great adventure started for me this year when Ismael Santana Vasquez approached me via Instagram. The challenge for me is to create the perfect picture with the whole team. Working together towards the end result is what I love about the profession.
Q: Besides modeling, which other activities do you like doing? Do you have any other hobbies?
A: I get my satisfaction from building memories with my friends and family. I also like to be creative and create things. That can be very different. It goes from drawing to making films, to writing stories.
Q: Which has been your greatest accomplishment as a model? Name your greatest dream yet to accomplish.
A: I am still at the beginning of the great adventure that awaits me. I am still looking for the big goal I want to work towards because there are still so many ways open to me.
Q: What does fashion mean to you and how do you think it will evolve?
A: I like to remove myself through clothing, so I have some unique things in the closet. I think the street fashion of the 70s is now becoming totally hip.
Q: Name your favorite band.
A: I have so much to name there. If you put my Spotify list on shuffle, all kinds of different cultures and times will pass by. I can stream for an evening with my father, but our favorites are Fischer Z and Queen.
Q: Can you tell us a lesson life has taught you or any experience that has changed your life?
A: I learned early that despite you choose another pass, things will be fine and beautiful things can happen. In our village, everyone went to the same secondary school and I went to a different school on my own, which I believe has greatly enhanced my personal development.
