Thom Browne has launched the men’s Early Fall 2024 collection, infused with subtle nods to classic architecture and the poetry of Edgar Allan Poe. Recently, Browne and his partner Andrew Bolton acquired an 18th-century rural estate called Teviotdale in the upper Hudson Valley, which is reflected in this season’s men’s collection, evident in accessories like the Look 13 bags and the Look 18 cardigan. Teviotdale is poised to become another totemic symbol in Thom Browne’s fashion landscape.

Thom Browne’s collection artfully blends tailored classicism with modernity, building upon the alterations in silhouette and construction he began last summer in Paris. The collection features softer shoulders and even slimmer jacket shapes, incorporating traditional “feminine” elements into his style and choice of clothing, thus refreshing the traditional “masculine” style based on his tailoring.
Footwear in the collection includes the brand’s classic British-made Goodyear-welted shoes, alongside more flexible Italian versions of Norwegian split-toe boots, loafers, and insulated duck boots. The bags, in addition to the Teviotdale tote, feature the new Thom Couple Bag, crafted in elegant canvas and polished black leather. The rose and raven embroidery adorning the clothing is also mirrored in the bag, paying homage to Edgar Allan Poe and his poems.
