Joshua Abramovich is a talented emerging designer who just had his last exhibition at MUON in Seoul.
Pneuma (the name of the exhibition) is a person’s vital spirit, soul, or creative energy. The exhibition features digital prints
that attempt to illustrate these themes. Ethereal and illuminating graphics transport
viewers to new realms, a reminder that there is more beyond our physical bodies. Through
creating these works, Joshua invites others to consider the unseen and further unveils his
pneuma.
Joshua’s artistic process includes layering images on top of one another digitally, producing a large number of iterations, which are then included in the layering process.
This methodology transforms the standard image into a new form of media. His work is primarily black, brown, grey, white, or light blue, sharing a similar aesthetic to the planet Kamino from Star Wars. In
addition, the glowing scenery of Dumbledore in the afterlife was initially referenced for this
series.
