The House of Mugler announces the launch of its Spring–Summer 2026 campaign, Stardust Aphrodite: a cinematic story lensed by Robi Rodriguez that celebrates the neon-lit surrealism of B-movies with the hypnotic tension of dream logic cinema. The campaign, the first since the arrival of its new Creative Director Miguel Castro Freitas, channels the House’s signature power, retro futurism, and sensuality into a visual universe of mystery and momentum.
Directed with a distinctly atmospheric lens, the imagery aims to evoke the uncanny allure of midnight thrillers and off-kilter classics with an allegorical narrative. The storytelling unfolds through shadow, shimmer, and pulse: a world suspended between danger and desire, where Mugler’s personas command the scene with fearless intensity.

The women of this campaign are magnetic forces that are strong, fascinating, and enigmatic. Their silhouettes splice through concrete and strobe, armoured in Mugler’s sculptural tailoring and crystalline embellishments. They embody a new chapter for the house: a celebration of modern femininity that is both timeless and radically forward.
“At Mugler, I’m drawn to strong, glamorous characters where power becomes visceral,” says Castro Freitas. “This campaign, the first part of a trilogy, crystallizes that philosophy. It’s a story of identity and transformation, of strong women who refuse definition.”
Shot across constructed architectural marvels and nocturnal industrial landscapes, the campaign highlights key pieces from the SS26 ready-to-wear collection: razor-sharp shoulders, draped leather, sculpted tailoring, and the arrival of his first handbags for the House, the Lua and the Aurora.
The Stardust Aphrodite Spring-Summer 2026 collection launches in selected boutiques and on mugler.com from January 2026.
