Creative director Juan Valentin-Gamazo @juanvg.designer and photographer Istar Gutierrez @istargutierrez present On The Street We Wear Upcycling, a fashion editorial exclusively created for Vanity Teen online with the gorgeous model Pau Areste @pauareste.
The inspiration for On The Street We Wear Upcycling comes from the concept of creating full upcycling outfits on a daily basis, showcasing how upcycling clothes can be as wearable as regular streetwear looks. “We wanted to encourage the public to focus on this idea, giving more ideas and examples of this movement, this era, this lifestyle. JUAN VG pieces are made to have fun, go for some drinks with your friends, go to work, to take a walk, travel, wear them and live them.”
The shooting took place around the streets of Barcelona using an analog camera Minolta X700. For the styling, all the pieces are from JUAN VG, the shoes are New Rock, and the jewelry Coalesce.
