Classically Bohemian. Taking place at the Kensington Gardens, the Burberry show was undoubtedly one of the best shows of London Collections: Men. Titled ”Classically Bohemian”, the show was about the contradiction of two different worlds. “I wanted something that was conventional mixed with something off-kilter and bohemian.” Christopher Bailey told The Guardian.
As the title suggests, a twist was given to the classical Burberry’s trench coat and poncho, being mixed with floral prints, Rajasthani embroidery, and leopard print. The trench coat came in colors green, purple, taupe and a mute yellow. The collection also debuted a new accessory, the carryall bag, which came in a variety of colors.
Characteristic of the label, this season’s singer was British singer-songwriter Clare Maguire, which performed four live songs including one written specifically for the show.
