Born from Stéphane Ashpool’s love for his hometown neighborhood, Souvenir Pigalle opens its doors at 17 Rue Duperré, offering a colorful and unique experience in the heart of Pigalle.
“In my habit of creating things just for fun, ‘Souvenir Pigalle’ is an extension of my love for my beloved neighborhood of Pigalle, where I grew up. Throughout the creative process, we designed a playful, childlike aesthetic inspired by my newborn son, Jim Azzedine,” shares Stéphane Ashpool.
The concept blends 1950s graphic references with modern Japanese influences to offer an original universe on the Paris scene. The shop bursts with colors inspired directly by Pigalle’s Duperré courtyard and features a strong emblem: an elephant representing “An Elephant’s Memory.”
Designed to grow and evolve like a child, Souvenir Pigalle presents, for its opening, a selection of kids’ and adult apparel under the “Souvenir Pigalle” and “Sport Pigalle” brands, as well as collectible items, trading cards, and books.
Additionally, a new product line is announced: the upcoming drink brand “Jim & Juice,” focused on fresh fruit juices and other beverages, while pastries will be crafted by a local talent, young Ichaka.
Stéphane Ashpool and the Souvenir team warmly invite the public to come support this local initiative.
