After last season’s “Core Memory” debut show in Paris, Racer Worldwide is coming back with their SS25 “Spring Break” collection.
Created under the direction of founder Mihhail Zigadlo, styled by Lana Jay Lackey, this collection dives deep into the chaotic energy of 2007–2013 — a time of Tumblr aesthetics, iCarly, Jersey Shore, and early social media excess.
The collection, presented as a “mockumentary” is going to be revealed this week. We were wondering if you could be interested in covering the new collection?
To add to the storytelling, Racer Worldwide has created MyRacer — Racer’s new digital storytelling platform, built as a nod to early social media sites like MySpace (see pictures attached). Every runway look is tied to a fictional teen character with their own profile, photos, vlogs, and stories. Visitors will also be able to chat with these characters on racerworldwide.net, creating a fully immersive world that extends far beyond the runway.
As always, Racer is rooted in youth culture and storytelling. “Spring Break” pushes back against today’s grayscale aesthetic with bold colors, unfiltered emotion, and maximalist camp — a reminder of when fashion was fun, loud, and unapologetic.
