Ottolinger got JT for its Autumn/Winter 2026 campaign, and people are obsessed with these pictures. I get why.

The rapper has always had a strong sense of style, and putting her in the world of a label like Ottolinger just makes sense. Both are a little unpredictable, never too polished for the sake of it, and always willing to take things further.
The campaign is built around a metallic backdrop, glossy textures and JT’s unmistakable attitude. The images have this almost liquid finish, like the clothes and even parts of her body have been coated in something reflective. Whether it’s the materials, the lighting or the post-production, the effect gives the pictures a futuristic feel. JT’s posing adds to it, too — feminine, confident and a little nasty, with eye contact that somehow still comes through the oversized shield sunglasses. The whole thing feels fresh, and I’m here for it.

JT Brings the Heat to Ottolinger AW26
The metallic background feels cold, but JT makes it hot. She looks completely at home in these looks, whether she’s wearing a floor-length black dress with sheer details or a fitted plaid outfit that shows off another side of the collection. The styling is bold without feeling like it’s wearing her, and that’s not always easy to pull off.
JT, whose real name is Jatavia Johnson, first made her name as one half of Miami rap duo City Girls, alongside Yung Miami. The group broke through with tracks like “Act Up,” bringing an unapologetic attitude that became a big part of their appeal. Since then, JT has continued to build her own identity as a solo artist, and her personal style has become part of that story.
JT’s Own Fashion Language
One day, it’s ultra-feminine and sexy; another, it’s oversized shades, dramatic makeup and a look that feels completely out there. She can go from playful to serious, polished to messy, without losing what makes her recognisable. That versatility is exactly why she works so well in fashion campaigns. She’s not just there to wear the clothes. She brings her own personality to them.
We’ve seen JT pop up in fashion campaigns before, including Poster Girl, where her bold, hyper-feminine style felt right at home with the London label’s aesthetic. With Ottolinger, the mood is different, but the same instinct is there. She knows how to commit to a look and make it hers.

Ottolinger’s World
Founded by Swiss designers Christa Bösch and Cosima Gadient, Berlin-based Ottolinger has built its reputation on fabric manipulation, deconstruction and silhouettes that don’t always behave the way you’d expect. The label likes to mess with materials, whether through unusual textures, cut-outs, sheer layers or finishes that make you look twice. For AW26, those ideas come through in mesh, flocked patterns, sculptural accessories and the collection’s glossy surfaces.
Earlier this year, Ottolinger brought its experimental approach to the runway with its Spring/Summer 2027 collection, continuing to push the boundaries of fabric manipulation and unconventional silhouettes.

A Natural Match
JT feels like a natural fit for that approach. The campaign doesn’t force her into a character or try to soften her image to make it fit a luxury fashion brief. It lets her be JT, just in Ottolinger. And because she’s already comfortable playing with how she looks, the more experimental pieces don’t feel out of place on her.
The campaign is a reminder that casting matters. A good campaign needs more than a recognisable face wearing the latest collection; it needs someone who can bring something to the images. JT has that presence, and Ottolinger gives her plenty to work with.
Ottolinger AW26 is futuristic, experimental and a little weird in the best way. JT was a smart choice, and the pictures speak for themselves.
