Since the launch of its streetwear line Team Wang last July, multi-talented artist Jackson Wang (I.G. @jacksonwang852g7) has proved that he ain’t playing around, making history into the fashion scene as designer and creative director. Now, his brand returns with its second collection aka ”cookies” (as the brand likes to call every collection) ”Cookies-The Velvet”.

If its first collection was described as limitless, undefinable, The Velvet collection is bold and daring, being its main focus on self-confidence and vitality. The implementation of the velvet fabric into the collection’s minimalist, sophisticated, and black aesthetic is to resemble the softness of human skin while outlining some of its greatest qualities, like strength, emotion, vitality, and resilience.

The collection, consisting of 11 pieces, such as jackets, vests, sweaters, t-shirts, handbags, baseball caps, accessories, among other items. The brand’s latest collection challenges itself by exploring the internal self through fashion, a self-transformation that wraps up in one thing: the sophistication of man.
