Spanish photographer Gustav Lag @gustavlag presents this stunning fashion editorial exclusively created for Vanity Teen online with the gorgeous nineteen-year-old international athlete sub20 for triple jump Ivan Martin Gave @ivanmartiing.
The inspiration for this editorial was rather simple, with the main objective to show us this young and gorgeous boy to meet him. The photographer wanted to make a very fresh and relaxed shoot as this was Ivan’s first photoshoot ever. Gustav found him on Instagram and his smile just got his attention.
Keeping it classic with his characteristic style, Gustav prefers to think about basic stuff when creating editorials, only using a neutral and simple background, staying as natural as possible because this was the model’s first time shooting.
The equipment used was a DX nikon D7200 camera and only one Elinchrom light in flash mode. It took place in the photographer’s studio in Pamplona, Spain, which doesn’t have windows, so the photographer mostly uses flashes or continuous light.
“I have just started making more natural portraits, focusing on showing the joy of the model to transmit good vibes, and that’s what I want to transmit with this editorial as well.”

The model is wearing various pieces from Nike, Calvin Klein, Kipsta, DIM, and Zara, and even though he was very shy at first bus as time passed and he saw the results on the screen he began to feel more confident and comfortable. The result is stunning and it really shows the incredible talent of the photographer and the model!
