T.C.L. ESTUDIO @tcl_estudio is a unisex fashion brand, founded and directed by Ana Delia, art director, and designer, who only uses organic and recycled materials to create amazing designs and great quality organic cosmetics based on minimalist visual culture. Born in Tenerife, Canary Islands, its philosophy is reflected in Japanese and Nordic influences as well as the gestures of Japanese aesthetics, with a meticulous graphic line, where the editorial design of the 90s and the love for paper are preserved.

The brand creates its own collections with great attention to detail in each garment and product and also produces some amazing organic cosmetics: clay face masks, natural soaps, and aloe vera juice. Joining the slow fashion movement, they believe in the need for high quality but above all in durability and traceability, using sustainable, ecological, and recycled materials. Giving the textile its own colors, based on its unique pantonera created by handcrafted natural pigments. 80% of its products are handcrafted by the brand itself.
In this latest collection “PANGEA” the director has been based on the protection of nature, both in colors and accessories.
“Love always wins over everything”

Q: How was the T.C.L brand born? What was the main goal that you wanted to achieve with him?
A: T.C.L. ESTUDIO was born as a result of shaping my own designs on textiles, I always wanted to give another approach to my work as a graphic designer and art director. Minimalism and passion for design. From there I experimented and put into practice the development of the brand, such as #slowfashion in this case, being more aware every day.
Q: Living in a world where chemicals are in everything we use, how do you think this could be changed?
A: Currently, we do not know the origin of the garments that we acquire as consumers, that is why at T.C.L. STUDIO I try to make each garment/product as organic, recycled, or sustainable as possible. For this reason, in 2021 we will try to expose to each client the traceability of each product that they acquire, both textile and cosmetic. We are working to offer all products a natural pigmentation in our textiles. “When you dye with plants you extract the heart of them, that is why when you dress it you take it with you”
Q: How do the use of organic cosmetics and the production of sustainable fashion help the environment?
A: I use what nature provides us, without adding any type of additive to organic cosmetics. When it comes to fashion, I focus on creating an environmentally friendly campaign. Each accessory is handcrafted, as well as the production of our textiles: screen printing with ecological inks, pattern making, and sewing, packaging, labeling, etc. It is very important to understand the difference between big productions and small independent brands like this one. Unlike the big companies, TCL is not governed by seasons, but by the desire to show the new collections elaborated and improved until we reach the peak of sustainability.

Q: For those who still use non-organic products, how would you persuade them to use organic and sustainable products?
A: Showing the results we obtain with our products, so that little by little they are more aware that to pamper themselves it is not necessary to always go to chemistry, or invest large amounts of money to buy products whose durability does not match the amount invested.
Q: What inspired your latest collection called Pangea?
A: Contact with nature, enjoy everything it provides, respecting and learning every day. Living on an island, I am very lucky to have it all; sea and mountain. In the beginning, TCL was based on a more minimalist and urban fashion giving way to a collection inspired by a rural and sustainable style.
Q: What other plans do you have for the future of the brand?
A: Looking ahead to 2021, there are plans to launch different products, which will be revealed over time, always in accordance with TCL’s philosophy. There will also be several collaborations with different brands and artists. I will focus on achieving minimalist designs but at the same time conventional for day-to-day use. – “DISCONNECT TO RE-CONNECT
