For the thirteenth entry in our On Our Radar – Fall/Winter 2026 Special Edition in Paris, a series spotlighting the most compelling emerging voices of the season, Trashy Clothing made a striking debut on the Paris runway.
Staged at the iconic Institut du Monde Arabe, the show marked the brand’s first-ever presentation in the French capital. Opening the runway was Mia Khalifa, followed by Alana Hadid, setting the tone for a collection that moved with quiet intensity rather than spectacle.
Titled “In Divine Trust,” the Fall/Winter 2026 collection reflects on the subtle contradictions of everyday life under occupation—where ordinary gestures and routines exist alongside structures of control. Rather than leaning into overt symbolism, Trashy Clothing channels tension through deliberate tailoring and composed silhouettes, garments that feel restrained yet charged with meaning.
Part of the conceptual backbone comes from the meditative stillness of Divine Intervention by Elia Suleiman, a film known for its quiet yet powerful reflections on political reality. That same sense of controlled tension carries through the collection’s visual language.
Adding another layer, the show unveiled a collaboration with Sheytan, whose sword-inspired jewelry punctuated the looks throughout the runway. The pieces functioned not only as ornament but as symbolic protection—objects that blur the line between vulnerability and defense.
In a season often dominated by noise, Trashy Clothing chose stillness. And in doing so, it delivered one of Paris Fashion Week’s most quietly powerful statements.
