For Paris Fashion Week FW26, Ottolinger drops Female Fools, a collection that thrives on contradiction. This is the eighteenth collection featured in our On Our Radar: Special Edition FW26 in Paris, and it refuses to play by the rules.
Inspired by artist Isa Genzken’s self-description as “the only female fool,” the collection celebrates the girl who speaks her mind, moves through the world unfiltered, and chooses authenticity over perfection. Outerwear takes center stage, blending sculptural scuba pieces, the brand’s signature faux fur, and, for the first time, leather. Worn Nike sneakers trace real-life movement, while the unreleased Nike Mirage, a hybrid football boot-Oxford, disrupts expectations.
In collaboration with Swiss technical brand Mammut, Ottolinger fuses performance with urban attitude — garments built for instinct, motion, and a life fully lived. The soundtrack, crafted by Lola Leon and Erwan Sene, completes the anarchic energy, with Leon joining the front row as a guest.
Female Fools is a rebellion wrapped in fabric: chaotic, loud, unapologetically alive — a reminder that in fashion, the boldest move is simply to exist on your own terms.
