On Our Radar shines on its 24th spotlight with HODAKOVA’s Fall/Winter 2026 presentation, “Conventional Collection 112603”, staged at the Carrousel du Louvre.
Set in a dimly lit room punctuated by four doors revealing fragments of an intimate interior, the show invited a meditation on identity, vulnerability, and self-reflection. Domestic furnishings — from carpets to tables — framed the space, where garments became extensions of the self, blurring the line between private sanctuary and public performance.
Silhouettes in black, ash, bone, and tobacco explored duality: sculptural fronts paired with exposed backs, precise tailoring softened by raw, unfinished panels, and layered wool, shearling, and fur cradling the body like gestures of self-containment. Mirror and glass motifs, in collaboration with Icelandic Glacial, reflected inner states while symbolizing protection and exposure.
Unexpected materials — horsehair strings, Harris Tweed, and upcycled silver spoons — added tension, heritage, and intimacy, transforming everyday objects into wearable narratives. Models appeared barefoot, as if caught in a private moment, grounding the collection in introspection while footwear introduced subtle nods to tradition and masculinity.
HODAKOVA’s FW26 is a study of the psychic interior, a safe space built through fabric and form, where the body, mind, and home converge. A quiet, profound reflection on presence, choices, and the layers we wear — inside and out.
