South Korean designer J EONGL I has unveiled an exclusive capsule collection in collaboration with the renowned Seoul-based boutique, Obscura Store. This unveiling serves as a prelude to the highly anticipated Autumn/Winter ’23 collection, scheduled for release later this year.
The partnership comes as part of Obscura Store’s innovative project, ‘UN;SEEN to SEEN‘. The initiative aims to shine a spotlight on diverse global brands, with J EONGL I being the first to be featured. The capsule offers a succinct selection, comprising Softshell Trousers and Coating Nylon Jackets in two distinct colorways.
Staying true to J EONGL I’s unique aesthetic, the Coating Nylon Jacket boasts a captivating design with a two-tone color scheme. The piece is enhanced by practical features, including thumbholes, hidden pockets, and an adjustable hem. The accompanying Softshell Trousers showcase a similar color palette, offering a relaxed yet technically-inspired silhouette. The capsule collection is available in Grey and Khaki.
To add depth to the collaboration, Obscura Store hosted an exclusive two-day pop-up event over the past weekend. This event provided customers with a unique opportunity to experience J EONGL I’s products firsthand, as well as appreciate the brand’s exceptional craftsmanship and technical nature.
