Gucci’s SS23 Twinsburg campaign was recently revealed, and it is certainly intriguing. The campaign merges past and present with a ready-to-wear collection of apparel curated by Alessandro Michele and shown on the runway for the highly talked-about Gucci Twinsburg runway show in 2022. The new campaign showcases Alessandro Michele’s (former creative director for Gucci) last collection for the Maison.
The acclaimed creative director, Alessandro Michele, initially collaborated with Gucci in 2015 and has since changed the face of fashion with the eclectic, avant-garde, and non-conformist designs and aesthetics exhibited in his collections.
The Gucci Twinsburg SS23 Campaign
As showcased on the runway, the campaign images and film both feature twins, which is the key motif of the Gucci SS23 campaign. Just as Alessandro Michele set out to do in the original runway show, the campaign showcases the dichotomy of individuality and duality through twins. In the campaign images below, two sets of hands showcase bags and shoes like the classic Gucci loafers refined with a “heart-shaped toe” and the gold “GG” emblem.
