From radiant, sun-kissed glam to more graphic and theatrical make-up, beauty became an integral part of each collection’s story. Leading the looks were make-up artists Isamaya Ffrench, for Casablanca, Ottolinger and Junya Watanabe, and Daniel Sallstrom, for Vivienne Westwood.
Casablanca: The Radiant Allure of a Brazilian Beach Glam
For Casablanca, Isamaya Ffrench envisioned a sensual, almost aquatic beauty inspired by the atmosphere of Brazilian beaches. Skin appeared fresh, luminous and iridescent, as though the models had just emerged from the sea. Face and body were illuminated with shimmering reflections that evoked sunlight dancing across wet skin. The brows followed the same aesthetic: brushed up and slightly wet-looking for a fresh, effortless finish, while a veil of sheer gloss completed the lips. The result was an ethereal and sensual beauty look built around an almost otherworldly luminosity, making radiant skin the true focus.

Junya Watanabe: Graphic Eyes and Theatrical Spirit
The mood shifted for Junya Watanabe, where Isamaya Ffrench created a decidedly bolder runway look. Graphic, eccentric and intentionally imperfect, the make-up had a strong editorial and theatrical edge. Eyes became the main focus, with black liner exaggerated through bold strokes, smudged details and layers of mascara, creating an intense and expressive gaze. Metallic flashes brought colour and dimension, further enhancing the experimental character of the look. In contrast, the complexion was kept flawless and refined, allowing the eyes to take centre stage. The lips were sculpted in burgundy tones and diffused into an ombré effect, with a touch of glossy red at the centre adding depth and dimension.

For Vivienne Westwood, make-up artist Daniel Sallstrom looked to the sensual appeal of deeply sun-kissed skin. The inspiration was that unmistakable post-holiday glow: bronzed, sexy and effortless, reinterpreted with a touch of 1980s glamour. Bronzer swept across the cheeks and eyes, sculpting the face without creating an overly defined contour. The result was warm, sensual and lived-in, reminiscent of skin after long days spent in the sun. The lips completed the look with a mix of nude and deeper shades, while the rest of the make-up remained focused on a confident, sun-drenched beauty that perfectly reflected Vivienne Westwood’s irreverent spirit.

Ottolinger: Wet-Look Skin and Contemporary Sensuality
For Ottolinger, luminosity once again took centre stage, this time with a more urban and contemporary attitude. Skin was dewy, sensual and deliberately glossy, offering an amplified take on naturally fresh skin. The complexion had an almost wet-look freshness, while the features were subtly sculpted. Eyes remained understated with soft definition, while the lips were glossy and finished in a muted nude-pink shade. The make-up appeared effortless, yet every detail was designed to enhance texture and light. The result was a tactile, modern sensuality that perfectly complemented Ottolinger’s experimental aesthetic.
