Designer Alexandre Hanzhang Wang, a graduate of the London College of Fashion, founded his menswear label A Dark Secret in 2018. Since then, he has unveiled seven independent collections, marking a significant milestone with the brand’s first standalone runway show in London in 2023, followed by runway presentations in both London and Paris in 2024 and 2025.
Rooted in a thoughtful dialogue between humanity, society, and the natural world, A Dark Secret is known for its commitment to sustainable fashion and cultural storytelling. This season, the label has been officially selected for the Paris Fashion Week schedule, supported by Flying Solo, to present its latest collection: “The Last Man.”
The collection explores the intricate interdependence between humanity and nature, portraying the latter as a vital sanctuary for the former. Each piece is crafted entirely from natural and sustainable materials, featuring handwoven textiles made by ethnic minority artisans in Guizhou, China, and prints dyed with pure plant pigments.
