“For this story, I wanted to channel the inner badass attitude that we are all capable of harnessing,” says Serena. “I have been living in Canada for 13 years and while I am grateful for this country, I think it made me a little soft even in situations I would rather not be. I am originally from Romania and over there it is a dog-eat-dog world – I sort of miss that. So I decided to channel the attitude that has been dormant for some time. I’ve been thinking of turning this concept into a series and seeing how different models express their own badass attitudes. A lot of the shoots I create are inspired by my current mood, behavior, and interests.”
The equipment used was a camera Nikon D850 with a 24-70 mm lens and the shooting took place in the streets of Paris near Notre Dame, France.
