We met him some weeks ago in Milan and that’s what he told us.

Hi Alessandro, tell us three good qualities and faults of your character.

Smart, sensitive and kind.

Insecure about himself, jealous and a narcissist.

I read somewhere that you started making videos on TikTok during lockdown in 2020. How did you deal with that restriction and what did it represent for the people of your generation? Was it a way to escape reality?

TikTok gave me the opportunity to earn enough money to pay me the rent and my studies.

it’s a good platform for starting.

And thanks to TikTok you’ve become a teen idol. How did you deal with this sudden popularity?

I’m not that social.

I have a small circle of friends, they help me, they love me, my family loves what I’m doing, I keep on living.

From TikTok to Rai (Italy’s national public broadcasting company): thanks to RaiPlay you had the opportunity to fulfill the dream of acting in a series, Nudes – directed by Laura Luchetti – which has already found favor with the public.

What did that moment represent for you?

Laura Luchetti represented for me the first big impact with this world.

she loves cinema and she shared with me her passion.

Nudes is a series created to decode and understand the dangers of social networking. How did you find yourself acting in this teen drama?

People are addicted to social media, they try to show on instagram a life they are not living just for likes.

Nudes talks about the dangers of social media, people should be aware that one something is online, it will be there forever.

My advice is to delete social medias for a while and live outside of this Matrix.

It’s more fun, trust me.

In 2023, you were among the protagonists of two films that we personally appreciated, Hai mai avuto paura? by Ambra Principato and Headshot by Niko Maggi.

Without giving spoilers, the two movies explore, in an absolutely different way, the darkest sides of the human soul and of our society.

How did you approach the two roles, that of Tano and that of Chris. Do you think there is an invisible bond between the two characters?

Well, I always try to find a connecting rope in every character i do.

Since I’m still studying, all the characters i see is me, myself and y trying to find my real identity and character.

This is the theater studying I keep on doin with my mentor Massimo Malucelli.

Fabbricante di lacrime is the film directed by Alessandro Genovesi in which you star alongside Simone Baldasseroni and Caterina Ferioli and which we can watch on Netflix.

Tell us something more about it.

Alessandro Genovesi really helped me through the movie, we talked just a little bit about what we wanted from this character, and he gave me lot of freedom in my choices.

Who is Lionel, the character you play?

For this project I had to work about the dark side of a teenager.

Everyone has a dark side that can lead him/her to do something really bad.

I worked on jealousy, I think this is the emotion that poisons my character and that turns him into the psychopath we see at the end of the movie.

What’s Cinema for you?

Cinema is my favorite hobby.

I grew up watching movies, my father used to teach cinema in Bologna’s university, He shared with me and my family his passion for the movies and vision and that is what I love about cinema, the mechanism behind what we see in the screens.

Cinema and tv: the series Those about to die by Roland Emmerich will be released on July 18th (in Italy on Prime, worldwide on Peacock) in which you play a regular role.
