THE BRAND CELEBRATED THE INTERNATIONAL LAUNCH OF THE PLEASURES X STWD COLLECTION WITH AN EXCLUSIVE PRESENTATION.
Pull&Bear has presented its new PLEASURES x STWD capsule collection with a special event as part of the Because Beaubourg event held at the Centre Pompidou in Paris, one of Euro-pe’s most iconic cultural institutions. Ahead of its upcoming five-year closure, the brand is joining the Centre Pompidou official celebration programme, participating in an event that brings together artists, collaborators, and international brands.
In this exceptional setting, Pull&Bear unveiled its collaboration with the American label PLEASURES, one of the leading names in contemporary streetwear. The installation, designed by artist and creative director Arnaud Selve, offered an artistic and avant-garde reinterpretation of the collection’s visual universe, perfectly aligned with the Pompidou’s experimental spirit.
“The collection was inspired by our home, Los Angeles. The vastness of the beach, the desert, the mountains and everything in between. That clash between urban and rural culture seen through the lens of PLEASURES”, explain the American brand’s designers.
A celebration of art, fashion and culture
The official presentation took place on 24 October as part of Because Beaubourg, an event organised with Because Music to celebrate the label’s 20th anniversary. It will brought together an international creative community in a unique, temporary setting inside the museum.
Designers from PLEASURES and Arnaud Selve attended the event, giving trade press and key figures in the cultural scene a first-hand look at the creative process and the shared vision behind the collaboration.
During the weekend of 24–25 October, the Pompidou opened its doors to the public, offering a programme of cultural activities, concerts, and exclusive experiences. As part of the programme, Pull&Bear’s installation invited visitors to an immersive experience.
Drawing inspiration from urban, Western and grunge aesthetics, the STWD x PLEASURES capsule collection embodies the experimental, free-spirited energy of both brands, blending the Californian label’s graphic, countercultural language with Pull&Bear’s contemporary, global vision.
More than just the launch of an international collaboration, this event marked a milestone for the brand: a celebration of fashion as a cultural experience, set in the heart of contemporary European art, just before the Pompidou undergoes its transformation.
