PSYCHIC FEVER, the global J-POP breakout group, returns with a new single titled “Gelato,” previewing their forthcoming third EP, “PSYCHIC FILE III.” The release follows the group’s successful debut U.S. tour and standout headlining set at SXSW, and marks their first project under Warner Music Japan in collaboration with 10K Projects in the U.S., as part of their new deal with Warner Music Group.
“Gelato” opens with a light, atmospheric introduction that evokes the feeling of a fleeting seaside romance. The track blends alternative R&B with soft electro disco and synth textures, creating a smooth sonic landscape that captures the sensation of a cool breeze on a hot beach day. The vocals, delivered with a mix of sweetness and longing, explore the nuanced emotions of a complicated love story.

Lyrically, the song employs a style reminiscent of hip-hop wordplay, subtly echoing the group’s previous hit, “Just Like Dat” featuring JP THE WAVY. This creative direction showcases their evolving artistry and commitment to broadening their sound.

“Gelato” debuted live during the EXPO2025 LDH DAY SPECIAL “Jr.EXILE LIVE” concert on April 29, and was released early on TikTok on April 30, quickly drawing attention. As a preview of “PSYCHIC FILE III,” the single marks a new phase in the group’s international journey. With fan events scheduled across the U.S. and Europe, PSYCHIC FEVER continues to build momentum heading into the summer.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pnn8AaSPlGk
