Actor, singer, and dancer Noah Urrea @noahurrea, who also is currently one of the lead singers for the international sensation, Now United: Simon’s Fuller’s new pop group featuring 18 different performers from 18 different countries traveling the globe, tells us more about himself, his professional journey and his ambitions in life as well as a really important piece of advice.

Q: If you had to briefly define yourself, what would you say?
A: I’d say that I am someone who is constantly looking to improve themselves – as an artist and individual.
Q: You are an actor, singer, and dancer. What’s your story? How did you start in the creative industry and what made you do it?
A: Ever since I was a kid, I would always be singing and dancing… and one day I told my parents I wanted to give this a shot – so we did. I wouldn’t be here without them. But I started through local theater which eventually led to performing by myself on stage to auditioning for shows and movies. Now here I am, 10 years later, in a global pop group that travels the world. How cool?
Q: What do you enjoy most of your job?
A: I enjoy putting smiles on people’s faces.

Q: I’ve heard that you are also starting a modeling career and that you are “hungry to pursue fearless fashion” What goals do you have as a model and what do you like the most about fashion?
A: I’ve always loved expressing myself through clothing and accessories, so I’m excited to use modeling as an outlet to continue expressing myself. In terms of goals, I’d say it’d be a dream to get into high fashion modeling for brands like… Dior or Prada.
Q: You are currently one of the lead singers for the international sensation, Now United, a global pop group made up of 18 members from 18 different countries, bringing music and dance to the world. What can you tell us about this marvelous experience and how it’s like being part of such a great team?
A: It’s definitely the craziest thing that’s ever happened to me. Being able to travel the world at such a young age and touch other people’s lives has been such a blessing to me. It’s pretty amazing to be a part of something this special.

Q: What motivates you to fight for your dreams? Tell us about your future goals that you’d like to accomplish.
A: The fans motivate me to be the best version of myself that I can possibly be. I also have many goals, but my main goal is to drop an album of my own… one day.
Q: Do you have any hidden talents or hobbies?
A: I know this sounds pretty lame but I can juggle… and I happen to be really good at a game called CSGO.
Q: If you had to say three things/qualities that make you who you are, which ones would you pick and why? What’s the first impression people have about you?
A: I would say that I am… musically inclined…. very curious… and also open. I would pick those three because I love being a part of the creative process when it comes to music as well as constantly learning and being open to new things and ideas. This feels kind of awkward to answer… but I feel that people generally think I’m kind and outgoing as far as a first impression.
Q: What does friendship mean to you?
A: It means a lot to me – I wish I had more time to experience it.

Q: Would you change anything from your past if you had the possibility to?
A: Who wouldn’t want to change a couple of things from the past? But anyway, there are a few things, but I am very content with my life right now.
Q: Name your favorite shows at the moment and your favorite fashion brands.
A: Ummm… I don’t get to watch a lot of TV, but I love Hunter x Hunter (anime) and Outerbanks. As far as my favorite brand, it’s probably Noon Goons. I also like Dior and Louis Vuitton (p.s. I can’t stop talking about Dior in the songs I’ve been writing).
Q: To conclude, what piece of advice would you give to those young talents who want to be like you? What’s something you would’ve liked to be told regarding the creative industry?
A: I think the best advice that I could ever tell someone is… the only person that’s stopping you from doing whatever you want to do is yourself. And I wish I would’ve been told to trust myself more with my own creative ideas… and to just believe in myself in general. It’s so easy to compare yourself to others but you kind of have to take a step back and realize that everyone’s paths are different and you’re gonna get there your own way – as long as you want it and work hard for your goals.
