The second installment of Kenzo’s Spring-Summer 2022 limited-edition capsule collections under the artistic direction of Nigo (@nigo) will arrive this March 05. Since his catwalk presentation in January, the Artistic Director has made his point clear: a true wardrobe for the future linked to the wisdom of the legacy left by Kenzo Takada. For this second collection, Nigo plays with one of the Maison’s most iconic codes and emblems: THE TIGER.
Represented in a new cartoonish form, expressed through the Artistic Director’s signature style, fresh and energetic, the jungle animal appears through a wardrobe of gender-neutral pieces for men and women with a timeless and essential approach:
- black oversized molleton hooded sweatshirts with animated tiger tail motifs on the back and a modern twist of the Kenzo logo on the front.
- cotton trousers with dark green cotton drawstring embellished with the new signature flower button.
- black and white t-shirts with animated tiger tail motifs on the back.
The Tiger Tail capsule collection along with the Boke collection are precursors to a reinvigorated KENZO that reflect Nigo’s core philosophy for the Maison: a true wardrobe for the future, linked to the wisdom of the past grounded in the key natural elements of the founder’s legacy, expanding the form and function of these motifs.
The limited-edition capsule collection will be available on 5 March 2022 in selected shops and on KENZO.COM.
