Monde Singulier announced its new collaboration with NECCHI ARCHITECTURE.
The Ec8 collection represents Charlotte Albert and Alexis Lamesta‘s personal take on family furniture, with all its bourgeois and outdated connotations.
Driven by a desire to break away from the demands of a conventional product, the collection offers furniture that is deliberately out of step with its time, infused with a touch of humor and in contrast with its Art Deco and classical references. Function takes precedence over form, with a conscious interplay between matte and glossy finishes, noble and humble materials, industrial and artisanal techniques.
Each piece is intended to mark the passage of time, carrying the hope of being passed down—much like inheriting a family writing desk—while always aspiring to be used for its original purpose.
