For FW26, Marine Serre transforms one of the world’s most iconic museums into a playground for couture. The Louvre, a universe of forms and myths, becomes more than inspiration — it becomes material, archive, and canvas.
At the heart of the collection is the Mona Lisa, deconstructed into mosaic-like garments that fragment and reconstruct across the body. Serre’s five couture looks turn history into movement: embroidered mesh, recycled paint tubes, and sculptural dresses make the wearer a living archive. Each piece celebrates creation as reconstruction, heritage as contemporary expression.
Alongside the couture, a capsule collection reimagines Louvre souvenirs — T-shirts, medals — through Serre’s signature upcycling lens. The iconic portrait, once static on walls, now inhabits everyday life, merging art, fashion, and activism in one seamless gesture.
FW26 proves that in Serre’s hands, fashion is more than clothing; it is a dialogue with history, a performance of memory, and a living monument to imagination.
