Lost In The Mountains by Juan Jose Restrepo

The portray of three free spirits united by nature on the mountain is what the Colombian photographer Juan Jose Restrepo @juanjosefoto wanted to create for this editorial with the help of the amazing models Antonio Paz @antonio.pazzz, Mateo Hernández @mateohernandezgl and Nía Bernal @niabernalf represented by XY Models @XYmodels.

Intended to take place in a studio, initially the team wanted to take some simple photographs on a white background. As they traveled to a town near the city named La Ceja, near Medellin, where the studio was located, after being in the car for quite some time they only thought about the landscapes they were seeing and how they would waste them if they shot in the studio as they intended to do. “We ran with everything and we entered several roads and we found this place, it was magical and a bit improvised but we loved the end result.”

This shoot transmit tranquility, peace, and serenity, a very quiet atmosphere that we all need at some point. “Let’s get lost in the mountains today” is what one of the models said, and this fashion editorial exclusively created for Vanity Teen online really represents that.

Styled and produced by Juan Pablo Velez Espinosa @juanpablovelez29 the models are wearing pieces by @religare_store and accessories by @pilujoyeria as well as different clothes from their personal wardrobe. In charge of the makeup and hair was Isabel Gonzalez @isabelgonzalezh.mua who did an amazing work portraying the essence of this amazing and natural photoshoot.
