In a nutshell: LAZOSCHMIDL proposes a GRWM living installation questionning to what extend we remain public and private.
· Exploration of intimacy and extimacy: The collection and the installation explore the tension between what we show and what we keep private, through garments blending classic everyday minimalism with a naïve, intimate queer sparkle. Tied to social media, intimacy is widely discussed today and no longer resembles what it was 30 years ago.
· Identity as a performative act: Each look becomes a role, a transformation, inspired by TikTok’s GRWM rituals. Semi-transparent changing rooms symbolize this fluidity of identity and the level of intimacy models choose to retain.
· Queer autofiction & pop culture: Manga, glitter, personal archives and DIY transfers mix with cultural references from London and Frankfurt, the designers’ home cities. Artificial intelligence is also used as a creative tool (with their images archives repurposed into fabric prints)
