The incredibly talented Venezuelan and Caracas-born fashion photographer and producer Elys Berroteran @elysmcm, who has been living these last years traveling the world to capture the most beautiful humans and places on Earth, presents yet another superb photoshoot. Starring the handsome model Dodge Dunlap @catchdodge represented by Muse NYC @musemodelsnyc and Independent Italy @independent_mgmt, both decide to get on a ferry in the marvelous city of New York.
Strong red tones from the ferry perfectly combine with the soft bluish tones of the cloudy day. The aesthetics of this photoshoot are amazing as it combines the key elements with perfectly colored images. Seagulls following them, the ferry’s trail on the water, the strong winds, and the skyscrapers in the background make you feel all those sensations. Exploring the insides of the ferry, Dodge looks like a passenger from the Titanic, but not any passenger. He’s able to take different roles, from the super fancy guy with his black suit to a hardworking employee. He mops the floor like no other, with a great attitude and a very stylish look, and grabs the ropes to help moor the boat.
In charge of the styling was by Carlos Benguigui @CarlosBenguigui, who perfectly showcased the editorial’s versatility and the story the photographer wanted to tell through these images. Photography is more than random pictures, it has a meaning and needs great efforts to get great results. Elys perfectly knows how to do that because he works with his heart and soul.
