Discover “JFK”: Zach Tabori’s Bold New Satire on the Kennedy Legacy and America’s Hidden History

Los Angeles, CA: Zach Tabori, known for his work as a multi-instrumentalist, composer, and member of Dweezil Zappa’s band, has released a new single titled “JFK” through Flesh Fury, accompanied by a lyric video. Currently serving as vocalist and instrumentalist in Zappa’s ensemble, Tabori introduces the track as an “American pop song” that examines the relationship between Joseph Kennedy, former U.S. Ambassador to the UK and father of President John F. Kennedy, and members of the Third Reich during World War II. The lyrics reference declassified letters revealing Kennedy’s documented antisemitic sentiments and political sympathies during the war.

The track pairs a bright, looping melody with biting satire, offering a commentary on the disconnect between political elites and the human consequences of their decisions. Directed by Shane Lawrence, the video contrasts archival wartime visuals with images reflecting the isolated, affluent reality of the Kennedy family, reinforcing Tabori’s critique of political detachment and opportunism.

“I wrote this song in protest of war profiteering and the entrenched political dynasties still shaping our country,” says Tabori. “The extent of Joseph Kennedy’s covert dealings is rarely acknowledged when talking about the family’s legacy. He’s the embodiment of the American Dream—depending on how you define it.”

“JFK” serves as the lead single from Tabori’s forthcoming album, “Attack of the Clout Chasers”, a jazz-punk fusion project exploring themes like social hierarchy, manipulation, American imperialism, apocalyptic imagery, and hypersexualized culture. Outside of his solo work, Tabori tours extensively with Dweezil Zappa, performing alongside Ryan Brown, Scheila Gonzalez, Kurt Morgan, and Bobby Victor, with shows celebrating Frank Zappa’s Roxy & Elsewhere and Apostrophe.

Tabori also served as musical director and guitarist for Colombian artist Téo, co-writing the track “Buena”, featured in M. Night Shyamalan’s recent film Trap. He performed at Coachella with Téo and collaborated with Jaden Smith on the album ERYS, co-writing and playing guitar on “Fire Dept.” and “K.” His orchestral piece “ICE AS FROZEN WATER”, part of the eight-part suite ROTTEN, further highlights his genre-spanning artistry.
