In May 2022, Dior and ERL’s collaborative California Couture collection dropped, showcasing an array of ensembles. First displayed in Venice, California, the collaboration comprised unique apparel envisioned and curated by Dior creative director Kim Jones and designer Eli Russell Linnetz.
Following its monumental debut, the Dior x ERL spring 2023 collection will now be available at Dover Street Market (DSM) London on January 5th before its debut in Dior boutiques.
Dior x ERL: California Couture Collection
The California Couture collection features clothing inspired by the vibrant and free energy of the city of Los Angeles. The collection ensembles feature various hues like pink, purple, and blue, encompassing a bright colour palette reflective of the ocean and sunsets in Los Angeles.
Notable pieces include satin suits, quilted jackets, and knitwear with “California Couture” embroidered in glimmering sequins. Accessories included a quilted saddle bag, reminiscent of the Dior saddle bag, in various colours and a gold chain strap.
