VT: What can you tell us about your origins, childhood, and your lives nowadays?

OS: My name is Omar Spoleti, and I am half Italian and half Moroccan. I grew up in a small city in Italy with my grandparents and spent most of my life there.

I graduated in Ireland, where I moved at the age of 18 to live with my mom. I lived there with my twin brother too for almost 1.5 years; then, we decided to move back to Italy to live alone in Pisa and study business there.

Now, we are studying still; but we moved back to our first house to stay close to our family because most of the time we are around Italy.

AS: Hi, I’m Adam Spoleti. I’m 21, and  I’m half Italian and half Moroccan. I spent most of my childhood in a small town in Italy until, at the age of 18, I moved to Ireland to live with my mum and finish high school.

At the moment, I am studying business in Perugia with my brother. That way, I’m closer to my grandparents, the people I love the most, and my father.

VT: What do you like the most about interacting with your over 2.5 million fans?

AS: The best thing about having all these people that follow us is the feeling of being appreciated for what we do, talking to them, and sharing our lives. I love spending time talking to our fans. I even have met a few people that right now are close friends to Omar and me.

OS: I like to meet new people to share my thoughts with; literally, a few of my closest friends are people that were our fans, and that’s so grateful.

Focus on better things

VT: Which would you say are your passions?

OS: I really like to read when I can. I love watching sports, particularly soccer, and watching TV shows on Netflix. That’s literally my main passion. (Laughs).

I used to love to go out with my friends and maybe go to clubs because, here in Italy, you can go by the age of 14. But now, I just prefer to stay at home so I can focus on better things.

AS: My passions are watching soccer matches with my grandpa and watching everything that pops up on Netflix. Of course, right now, I don’t have all the time that I would like to spend in front of the TV, but I really enjoy watching a good movie.

VT: Who are your favorite teams and players?

OS: My Favorite team is Juventus. I watch every single game. And my favorite player is Cristiano Ronaldo; I love him. I have a few more others like: Álvaro Morata, Dybala, and Chiesa. But Cristiano is my favorite one.

In Basketball, I just support LeBron James teams. (Laughs). I know, it’s weird, but he’s just my fav player there. Even though, I’m a huge Stephen Curry fan too.

AS: So, my favorite teams. In soccer, Juventus. I´ve been watching every single game of them since I was 7. I also follow the NBA too, and right now, I support Los Angeles Lakers.

My favorite players are Cristiano Ronaldo and LeBron James. I think that they are the best players that the world has ever seen. At least, in my opinion.

VT: How do you stay in shape? Any advice for those who would like to start working out?

AS: I have to be honest: I’m not the best person at advising in this area. You should probably ask my brother. I’m lucky I have a fast metabolism so that I can eat whatever I want. I do work out from time to time or do some kickboxing at the gym, but that’s not enough. (Laugh).

OS: I stay in shape, first of all, by training at least one hour every weekday. Plus, I follow a diet, not in a rigid way, but I try my best.

I’m not a huge fan of sweet or chocolate things. Also, I mainly drink just water, so it’s even easier. My stomach is super delicate, and I’m lactose intolerant, so that makes it even easier to eat less junk food and a more healthy one.

VT: When you are not working on your content, what do you do?

AS: During the day, I have college lessons, so most of it, I’m studying or talking to my fans. On the weekend, I usually hang out with my friends. Of course, to stay in touch with the new trends, we have to spend some time on social media, either TikTok or Instagram, so that, every day, we can post two new videos.

OS: I usually think or study new trends every day for 1.5 hours to follow the vibe; otherwise, you’ll lose it, then I wake up kind of late, but it’s more because most of my fans are over the ocean, so to be able to talk with them due to the time difference, I stay up till 2 or 3. Not just my fans, even jobs opportunities, etc.

In the evening, I train and study, spend a little bit of time with my Grandparents. Then, after dinner, I lay in bed and watch TV shows for a couple of hours; for me, it’s super healthy because it helps me escape from reality for a little bit.

VT: What are the things that make you feel humble and thankful?

OS: My grandparents that I grew up with, I’m super thankful to them. When we grew up, my brother and I didn’t have so much money, we weren’t “cute”, and due to our “half-blood”, we were even bullied and suffered from racist insults, so when I think about that and how strong we became, I just see how far we’ve accomplished, just Adam and I alone, no help from no one. They never really accepted us, but we moved on.

AS: There isn’t any reason not to be humble; it’s still me, the same person. I’m still hanging out with the same old friends, still behaving as I always did. There is still a long way to go, and even if I were the most famous person on this earth, I would still be me, I think.

It’s your life, be yourself

VT: Which plans do you have for the future?

AS: My goals, for now, are finishing college ASAP and growing as much as I can in every platform we are involved in. Then, who knows what the future has in mind for us? We leave this for the Omar and Adam of the future!

OS: I plan to finish college in 2 years and continue my influencer career for as long as possible.

My dream is to go to the US to live there but, for now, I´d like to move to Milan.

I don’t know what the future will bring me, but I bet it will be amazing.

VT: Thinking of those who may currently be going through bad times, what message would you like to share with them to cheer them up a bit?

AS: I think that everyone has bad and good days. People don’t have to give up. And if you have an urge, go and talk to someone. There are plenty of people fully qualified to talk to us and get us through the bad period of our lives, like a psychologist. So, my advice is to talk to your parents, your friends, or psychologists.

OS: I get to feel bad most of the time, but my motto is: life is sinusoidal. So, if it’s going down now, it will go up again. It’s mathematically a curve, and it’s up to you how down or how up it will go.

VT: Anything else you would like to share with Vanity Teen?

OS: Believe in your dreams and don’t let anyone decide for you, or tell you what to do and never let yourself be affected by people’s prejudices.

Since I stopped caring about what people think of me, I became a better person, and it literally changed my life.

AS: First of all, I would love to thank you guys for this opportunity. And then, I want to say to all of you to never let anyone decide what kind of life you have to be living, it’s your life, be yourself and you’ll get anywhere!
