The much-anticipated collaboration series between Beautiful People and the century-old denim brand Lee has recently been unveiled. This partnership is founded on Beautiful People’s philosophy of “fulfilling contradictory and opposing concepts simultaneously,” resulting in denim jackets that incorporate the unique ‘DOUBLE-END’ technology. Highlights include the fusion of Lee’s iconic jacket styles ‘101-J’ and ’91-J’ – which can be flipped to showcase two distinct designs. The jeans are based on Lee’s classic ‘101-Z’ model, but when the side zips are undone and the garment is reversed, it transforms into painter pants ’11-Z’.
Available in two color choices – unwashed raw and bleached – the items in this series will be open for pre-orders on the Beautiful People official website starting at 21:00 on January 19. A pop-up pre-sale event will commence on February 7 at the Beautiful People Isetan Shinjuku store and the men’s section on the first floor, with the official launch at Beautiful People direct stores on February 10.
