PUMA and French designer Louis Gabriel Nouchi continue their experimental reinterpretation of the Mostro, this time transforming the bold 1999 hybrid silhouette into a minimalist ballet flat.
Stripped back to its essential form, the collaboration translates the Mostro’s distinctive design language into a low-profile slip-on, featuring a studded upper that echoes the spiked sole of the original model, radiating a subtle punk-rock edge. The dotted texture introduces tactile contrast across the two tonal colorways, while preserving the shoe’s unmistakably bold character.
An elastic strap wraps around the forefoot, offering a natural fit and reinforcing the functional roots of the silhouette. Underfoot, the rubber outsole recalls the Mostro’s aggressive grip pattern, anchoring the shoe to its sporty DNA—originally inspired by track and field and surfing.
The collaboration also marks the latest accessibility-focused innovation from PUMA and LGN, with a lace-free slip-on design that promises easy on-and-off wear.
The PUMA x LGN Mostro Ballet will be available starting January 24, 2026, on louisgabrielnouchi.com and at selected PUMA retailers.
