The collection invites us to turn our attention to the present, to observe what is already here and become more aware of the moment as it unfolds.
Founded in 2013 by Indian designer Dhruv Kapoor, the eponymous brand has developed a distinctive language at the intersection of Indian culture and contemporary sensibilities. After many successful collections presented at Milan Fashion Week, this Spring Summer 2027 was a true testament to the roots of the brand with a new fresh perspective on sportswear thanks to the Puma collaboration.
His creative vision brings tradition and modernity into dialogue through an experimental approach to tailoring, proportions and materials, combining references to Indian culture with influences shaped by his years in Milan. The result is an aesthetic built around contrasts, where masculine and feminine, structure and fluidity, past and future become part of the same visual vocabulary.
In SS27, this reflection takes shape through a wardrobe defined by movement, layering and shifting proportions. Sun-faded colors are interrupted by more saturated tones, bringing different stages of ageing and transformation into the same palette and translating the passage of time onto both the body and the clothes. Traces of time also emerge across the surfaces: organic embroideries grow freely along seams and fabrics, moving across materials ranging from silk and jersey to leather. At the same time, traditional Indian codes such as the lungi, vest and sari are deconstructed and reassembled through new proportions.
The concept of Presence also extends into three partnerships, each exploring the relationship between what already exists and its potential for transformation. The first is a collaboration with PUMA and Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), the Indian professional cricket team. The collaboration introduces a limited-edition capsule in which sportswear codes and RCB’s identity are reinterpreted through Dhruv Kapoor’s design language. The statement jackets presented in Milan transform elements associated with cricket and performance wear into more crafted and expressive pieces, combining technical construction with handcrafted details and turning familiar symbols of sporting identity into contemporary fashion.
The dialogue between heritage and technology continues with SENNES by the House of Senco, the Indian jewellery brand focused on lab-grown diamonds, which are incorporated into selected looks from the collection. The final collaboration is with Paloceras, the Helsinki-based eyewear house known for its sculptural frames, which translates the collection’s exploration of transformation and form into eyewear.
Together, the three partnerships become extensions of the central idea behind Presence: taking existing codes, symbols and forms, observing them in the present and imagining what they might become.
