Photographer Jesus Rios Cozzetto @cozzeto has created this fashion editorial exclusively created for Vanity Teen online with the model Sergio Arvizu @arvizmyia represented by Blck Agency, and he was assisted by Richy Ortiz and Samuel Valles.
This editorial is inspired by freedom and melancholia. It is a call for all of us to get back out in the open air, to feel the wind and the sound of the mountains, to really appreciate the different shades of the sun that reflects on the plants and on us. It is a way of appreciation of how shadows and their silhouettes subtly transform spaces and places.
“After the most difficult days of the pandemic I decided to do a shooting to inspire me and go outside for a moment with three of my friends and roomies, my model and my assistants.”
The idea of shooting was to mix pieces like jackets with different jeans, shirts, comfortable pants to showcase that feeling of freedom, the team wanted to play with the different tones during their tour on the mountain, focusing on capturing the feeling of freedom that we all miss today in every photo.
The photographer used a Canon EOS 600D and natural light. He also used the changing light at different times of the day to generate something harmonic between tones and a romantic atmosphere. The shooting took place on a mountain in Zacatecas, Mexico, a warm and very quiet place with very unusual landscapes.
It was really fun to walk and breathe fresh air, we found very interesting places very interesting to create photographs in.
