The super-talented photographers Theo Le Foll @theolefoll and Frederic Monceau @frederic.monceau teamed up to bring a wonderful fashion editorial exclusively created for Vanity Teen online in which Theo models.
“Frederic and I, Theo, have known each other from not so long ago but we planned since to do an artistic collaboration together, me as the model and him as the photographer. I know that he had this amazing hair artist with him and this idea came to me. I wanted for a long time to shave my head. So we talked about doing this story where I cut my hair on set, to have different sequences from my haircut process,” says Theo.
“Getting shaved was a big deal for me because I’ve always had long hair, and I don’t know if it was a cool idea, but I actually love it. I did modeling for two years and I stopped because I had too much work as a photographer, but I love modeling so much. For me, it’s so playful and it’s like acting. I feel like when I model, I get into a character for a moment, even if it’s still me and the photography still represents myself and my universe. So finally with this haircut, I would love to get back into this industry and break the rules, because so many times I did not get projects because I was too small, but who cares? This needs to change and I want to be part of the movement.”
The equipment used was a camera Nikon D850 and the shooting took place in Paris at Studio 525.
