After the viral success of Queens of Plastic, Florence Tétier and Adriana Manso return with a second chapter that feels less like a sequel and more like a mutation. TÉTIER x LA MANSO 2.0 takes the exaggerated, plastic-fantasy language of the original project and stretches it into something softer, stranger and unexpectedly organic.
Available online now, the new collection dives deeper into experimentation — not only aesthetically, but technically. This time, the duo turned toward natural flowers as their starting point, studying them through different stages of maturation and decay. Using high-resolution scans, they captured shifting textures, altered pigments and fragile surface details, transforming them into entirely new forms, colours and finishes.
The result sits somewhere between nature and simulation.
Pieces appear almost alive, but artificially preserved. Colours feel faded yet hyper-saturated at the same time, like memories filtered through digital gloss. Surfaces look liquid, sculptural and slightly uncanny — maintaining the playful chaos of the first collaboration while introducing a more layered and emotionally textured visual language.
What makes the project work is that neither Tétier nor Manso treats fashion or accessories too rigidly. Their shared universe has always existed closer to image culture, internet aesthetics and emotional object-making than traditional luxury. The pieces function less like simple jewellery and more like wearable moodboards — instinctive, maximalist and deeply online.
That same energy carries into the visual world surrounding the collection. Rather than building a single campaign narrative, the pair developed multiple image series exploring different emotional dimensions of the project. Some feel tactile and intimate, almost botanical. Others lean fully into surrealism, blurring bodies, textures and objects into glossy dreamscapes that feel suspended somewhere between Y2K nostalgia and synthetic futurism.
At its core, TÉTIER x LA MANSO 2.0 understands something many brands still struggle to grasp: people no longer just want products. They want worlds. Atmospheres. Characters. Objects that feel capable of carrying emotion, irony, fantasy and identity all at once.
And in the increasingly polished sameness of contemporary fashion imagery, that kind of weirdness feels refreshing.
