From the sidewalks of London to the streets of Paris and corners of Milan, we take a look at the street style that emerged in these Fashion Weeks. Out of the runway there’s also some show stopping fashion and inspiration for your looks this season that you don’t want to miss!
So… Mirror, mirror, on the wall, what should I wear this fall?
Leather trench coats
We’ve seen the trench coat take over the streets in many different fabrics and colors but definitely the star of the season is the leather version of this classic outerwear. Absolutely versatile, the leather trench can be dressed up or down, worn day to night.

Color Blocking
For fall, we’re used to seeing neutrals. But how about adding a pop of colour? Or all of it! This trend of mixing and matching solid colors from the 2010s has re-emerged, as we’ve seen in the Valentino Fall 2021 couture collection, and other designer’s runways, like Bottega Veneta and Brandon Maxwell.

Knitwear
One of the major trends is undoubtedly knits, but not only the classic knitted items like sweaters, sweater vests and cardigans but also dresses, tops and skirts. Add some colourful patterns to the mix and you’ve got a beautiful trend, with textures that make a look stand out. And if you’re thinking of knitwear as cozy, think again! We got a sexy side of it this season, with cropped and cut-out pieces.

Denim on Denim
A shirt or denim jacket plus jeans of the same color is one of the most popular combinations. Denim dresses and jumpsuits should not be forgotten either. Both single-color looks with refined lines and mixing light and dark denim are welcome, as well as patchwork pieces.

Plaid
Plaid is a style staple for cold-weather outfits, and this season is not the exception. Some of its popularity unfolds from the preppy style trend, but mostly the reason why we see this print again and again this season is the pop-punk revival that has taken over the music scene.

Sheer Layers
You may think it’s more appropiate for the warmer seasons, but see-through clothing has proven it’s not weather-bound. To translate your sheer pieces to the colder days you just have to style them properly. Choose knitted fabric, thicker fabric pants, a long skirt, or a turtleneck.

Clashing Prints
It may be difficult to get it right, but this trend is full of endless possibilities and it’s probably the most fun. This is your chance to be creative, bold and over the top. At the end of the day, we really love a perfectly mismatched look. Pro-tip: think of one of the prints as a statement, this will be the focus and it’s bolder. Then the second one should be simpler than the first.

Headscarves
Celebrities, influencers, and the entire Internet have been revolving around the silk headscarf look these days. An accesory that can definitely make your outfit stand out (or maybe conceal a bad hair day?), we’ve seen it in Gigi Hadid and Dua Lipa thanks to Versace and we’re obsessing!
