Takayuki Fujii, the manager of nonnative, is known for his designs in a simple urban style he has long admired. In his hands, Red Wing’s work boots with strong “American genes” have taken on a new style. The last special collaboration between the two parties was launched in April of last year and sold out the same day. After a year, the new work from the two parties will make its debut once again.
A Bold New Style
The collaboration is based on the currently sold-out Red Wing 2900 and 3147, and it has drastically changed the sneaker’s midsole, stitching, and upper color. Arriving in a sophisticated All Black with White stitching, this collaboration adds a dash of elegance to the sturdy work boot.
