Salomon continues to blur the line between performance footwear and contemporary design with the launch of the RX-ENRO UCHI, a new global collaboration with Tokyo-based creative director UCHI.
Rooted in the philosophy of Japanese gardens, the silhouette reimagines the brand’s recovery shoe through a lens of simplicity, craftsmanship, and connection to nature. A mesh upper gradually shifts from green to brown, mimicking the natural aging process of materials exposed to everyday life, while textured suede details add depth and character.

More than a sneaker, the RX-ENRO UCHI is built around the idea of “ENRO” — a Japanese concept representing pathways, human connections, and journeys that continue over time. It’s a theme that has defined the ongoing partnership between Salomon and UCHI, which has previously extended beyond product into community events and cultural initiatives in Kyoto.
The accompanying campaign, photographed by Kisshomaru Shimamura, captures quiet moments of daily life, reinforcing the collaboration’s focus on utility, routine, and understated beauty.
Launching globally on June 11 through Salomon, brand boutiques, and selected retailers, the RX-ENRO UCHI proves that sometimes the most powerful design statement is also the most subtle.
