PUMA is diving deep into its running archive with the return of the Homura — a bold Y2K-era silhouette built on speed, experimentation, and high-impact design.
Originally released in the early 2000s as part of the brand’s Complete franchise, the Homura captured the futuristic energy of performance running through sharp overlays, technical construction, and vivid color blocking.
Now revived for 2026, the sneaker arrives with the same fearless attitude that made it stand out during the golden era of tech runners.
The reissue pairs a radiant orange upper with aggressive black contours, energized by turquoise and yellow accents across the silhouette.
Performance-rooted details like PUMALITE tooling remain central to the design, while Japanese branding elements referencing “flame” reinforce the shoe’s fiery identity.
At a moment when archival runners continue to dominate sneaker culture, the Homura feels less like a retro comeback and more like a perfectly timed reawakening.
The PUMA Homura launches May 16, 2026 via PUMA and selected retailers worldwide.
