Louis Vuitton Cruise 2025 Show Takes Place at Emblematic Park Güell BARCELONA

Louis Vuitton brought its exclusive runway show to the Mediterranean city of Barcelona, staging the event at the iconic Park Güell, designed by the famous Catalan artist Antoni Gaudí. The park, built between 1900 and 1914, marks the beginning of the modern architecture era. Gaudí lived in a house within the park until his death on June 10, 1926.

This show marks Nicolas Ghesquière’s 10th cruise collection with the glamorous brand, his first being in Monaco on May 20, 2014.

Park Güell, typically reserved for cultural or Gaudí events, hosted its first fashion runway, an event that did not come without controversy. During the preparation, some stairs were damaged, but the brand compensated for the repairs and issued apologies. Local residents were not thrilled with the celebration, staging demonstrations that blocked access and required a heavy police presence, delaying the runway by 30 minutes.

The show featured the Cruise 2025 collection, capturing the holiday spirit and the sea in homage to the city. This event is part of a series of collaborations between Louis Vuitton and Barcelona in anticipation of the 37th America’s Cup. The runway attracted numerous celebrities and VIP guests, including Hollywood actors and actresses, musicians, models, and influencers. Notable attendees included Ana de Armas, brand ambassador since 2023, Jaden Smith, prominent model for Louis Vuitton, Pharrell Williams, the new Creative Director for men, whose first collection will be presented in June during Paris Fashion Week, and many others such as Léa Seydoux, Sophie Turner, Chloë Grace Moretz, Shay Mitchell, Jennifer Connelly, Ester Expósito, Nicole Wallace, Anna Castillo, and Victoria Federica. This event has become a landmark date for the brand and its Artistic Designer of Women’s Collections, Nicolas Ghesquière.
