Northern Irish designer Jonathan Anderson first collaboration with Japanese retailer Uniqlo exemplifies both brands view of elegance with a stress on British heritage, merging the best of Japanese fabrics functionality with the sophistication of British design. The designer said of its latest collaboration:
“Working with Uniqlo is probably the most incredible template of democracy in fashion, and it’s nice that my designs can be accessible to anyone, on all different levels.”
A thirty-three-piece set for both men and women, the collection consists of oversized turtleneck with long-sleeve sweaters, long-sleeve blouses and shirts, cashmere oversized knit long-sleeve dresses, trench coats, JWA graphic t-shirts, along accessories plus more.
The Lifewear collection, whose prices range between $30 and $150, will launch in the U.K on September 19, with an early access on September 21 (9pm ET) Online, and in in select stores on September 22.
