Q: It must be difficult to consistently think of new content to post. We notice that much of the social media world requires you to be posting almost daily and to outdo yourself each time. How do you manage this and do you find it stressful to keep pumping out content?
A: I go through periods of time where I love posting, and then periods of time where I don’t love posting. I think what helps me to keep pumping out content is to make videos about things I love- i.e. I’ll go to the beach and make videos, or I’ll travel and make videos, or hang with my friends and make videos. I am most creative when it doesn’t feel as much like work and is just fun and natural! The more you push to make content rather than just have fun, the harder it gets, and the content won’t end up being that good!
Q: What would you say would be the quirkiest thing about yourself you think your fans might not know or just find interesting?
A: Since I was little I have been obsessed with the weather channel. I literally watch the weather channel every day and look at the top stories and see what is happening in the world. Since I am from California, I am so fascinated by all types of weather and how other places experience it since we don’t get to experience much of it! Honestly, if I didn’t pursue social media I probably would have been a meteorologist.
Q: When you are in your downtime and trying to reset your mind from your work, what do you do to pass the time?
A: I love to work out, go on runs, weight-lifting, etc. I also love watching movies and shows, I love horror and mind-twisting movies that make you think and can take you out of your own reality for a little bit.
Q: If you had to think about the distant future, what sort of impact do you want to be remembered for?
A: I want to be remembered for making the world a better place- whether it be from roles that I play in the future, content that I make, or using my platform to spread awareness, anything that I am able to do to help build a stronger community. I’d really love to make a difference in how social media can affect mental health, and so I hope I can continue to be a safe space and provide joy for others!
Q: Biggest pet peeve?
A: When people lie! Honesty is really important to me and one of my core values as a human being.
Q: What era / which pop culture icon do you think you pull style references from?
A: Definitely the 90’s! I love the 90’s grunge/vintage look- think Brad Pitt 90’s vibe :)
