Q: Where do you most pull fashion inspiration from and why do you think it’s been so influential in your life?
A: Wow, that is a good question. Honestly most of my clothing purchases are simply impulse decisions and there’s not always a lot of inspiration. When I see something and I like it I will just buy it, and I don’t have a favorite brand.
Q: Thinking many years into the future, what do you hope to accomplish most?
A: Well I really want to get involved in music somehow. Yeah, I know that everyone says that, but it really is a dream of mine. I’d love to create and record music, but I just need to find the time to commit to it. I know it won’t happen overnight, and I have already spent some time in the studio but I want to give it more of my attention.
Q: What do you do to pass time when you are not focusing on building your future?
A: I’m still finishing high school, so that takes up a lot of my time. I try to hang out with my friends as much as possible, just chilling. We go out for food, play video games and make content. Back here in Vancouver (where I am now) I also spend a lot of time with my family. My parents have been working from home so I spend a lot of time with them. Too much for me but never enough for them.
Q: When you go out with friends or family, do you find you get recognized a lot because of your large online following? (1.2M Insta & 5.5M TikTok!) IF so, would you say this was an easy thing to get used to or would you say you miss part of the freedom of going out and no one knowing who you are?
A: Yeah for sure I get recognized a lot, but it’s sometimes easy to put a hoodie on and hide. Just depends on my mood. Being recognized doesn’t bother me as I really appreciate my supporters and value them. I still get surprised or caught off guard when someone knows who I am. When I’m down in LA I am often with people far more well known than I am, but here in Vancouver my group of friends does not have a large following on social media.
Q: Random question! If you could only listen to two albums and watch only one movie for the rest of your life, which would you choose and why do you think those would mean the most to you?
A: Legends Never Die – Juiceworld & The Goat – Polo G. Can’t explain why, but they are just where I am at right now. Movie – Grown-Ups. Simply can never get enough of this.
Q: Thinking back to your road to a successful online presence, who would you thank most for being there by your side through everything?
A: My loyal supporters mean a lot to me but I also really have to thank my family. Not just my parents but all of my family including my cousins, aunts, uncles, and grandparents as they have been my top supporters right from the start. They have always been there for me.
